Donald Don E. Willis

Reidsville: Donald “Don” E. Wills, 72, of 158 Gallent Road, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.Don was born in Hinton, West Virginia to the late Hubert and Rosa Lee Hill Wills. He was a mechanic for Miller Brewing Company, Eden and a former employee of White Oak Plant, Greensboro. He served in the US Army as a Specialist 4th Class and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Odessa Wills Gill; brothers, Bill, Hobert, Luther, Earl, Bobby Jo, Kenneth and Raymond Wills. Most of all Don was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Drema Wills of the home; sons, Ricky E. Wills of Reidsville and Douglas L. Wills and wife, Susan of Snow Camp; grandson, Aaron L. Wills and wife, Megan of LaGrange. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM and other times at the residence.
