Donna Marie Thompson Banks

Donna Marie Thompson Banks, 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

The family will receive friends From 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 1^ST, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Donna was born in Rockingham County to the late Calvin Clay Thompson and Janice Marie Bray Thompson. She was a graduate of Reidsville Highschool and attended Western Carolina University. She worked many years at the local Head Start Program starting the program at Woodmont United Methodist Church. She then continued her career until retirement working at the Rockingham County Governmental Center. She loved cooking, gardening and bird watching. Most of all she loved her family.   She will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her previous husband and father of her children Randy Robinson and previous husband, Bob Maus.

She is survived by her husband of 4 years, William Banks; sons, Jamey Robinson and Ben Robinson (Crystal); grandchildren, Kaylah Robinson (Chris), Alex Robinson, Serenity Robinson; great grandchild, Carson Riley; sisters, Kathi Thompson, Deborah Oakes (Kevin), Patricia Fetzer (Fred); brother, Barry Thompson (Janice) as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
