Donna Jo Nichols

Donna Jo Nichols, 63, of Reidsville Passed away at her home on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday September 30, 2023 at the Church of God Of Prophecy in Asheboro, NC.

Donna was born in King County, Washington to the late Larry and JoAnn Welsh. She was an amazing mother to her own two sons as well as a second mother to several of their childhood friends. Donna had the biggest of hearts and it was always open to the folks she encountered. She adored all 3 of her grandsons with everything she had as well as her sons. Some of her favorite things to do were baking and cooking meals for her family and friends, she made sure no one left hungry. Another one of her favorite things to do was crafting, she had an artistic ability that she really enjoyed sharing with her grandsons when they came to visit.  Donna touched the hearts of many people in her years with us and was always able to make a connection with those she met in her life. She will really be missed by a lot of people, especially her close family and friends.  

She is survived by her two sons, Aaron Michael Nichols (Stephanie), Corey Lee Nichols (Meghan); grandchildren, Scott, Lucas, and Ryder Nichols; sister, Holly Campbell (John); father of her children, Michael Nichols; recent companion, Randy Davenport as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
