Donnie Ray Miller

Reidsville: Donnie Ray Miller, 61, of 540 Cross Key Road, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Heath Lloyd and Rev. Ronnie Warner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Donnie was born in Rockingham County where he lived all of his life, to Othelia Craddock Miller and the late Thomas Miller, Sr. He worked in textiles for over 20 years and was a farmer. He loved playing golf, going to the beach and spending time with his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Miller; children, Roger Dale King and wife, Shannon, Lisa Michelle Julian and husband, Lane, Donna Gail Locke and husband, Leonard and Edward Thomas Miller and wife, Miriam; mother, Othelia Miller; brother, Thomas Miller, Jr. and wife, Gail; sister, Susan Miller Jordan and husband, Keith; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will see friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, Othelia Miller, 542 Cross Key Road.
