Reidsville - Doris Odell Hedrick Yeatts, 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Rockingham County Hospice Home.Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Elder David Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.Mrs. Yeatts was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Charlie and Mary Love Owens Hedrick. She was a former employee of the Cone Mills Etna Plant and a member of Lick Fork Primitive Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Snow "R. S." Yeatts, Sr. and her son, "R. S." Yeatts, Jr.Survivors include her daughters, Christine Satterfield and husband, Woodrow, Mary Jane Vaughn and friend, Charles Ratliff all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Reid Yeatts and wife Natasha, Neil Satterfield, Sandra Vaughn Barrow and husband, Allen, Doris Vaughn Gentry and husband, Ben, Sandra and Doris' father, Roger Vaughn, Anna Yeatts, Rachael Sanchez, Tim Satterfield, Shelia Satterfield and Jeff Satterfield and wife, Kelly; six great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; sister, Frances Mullins of Lynchburg.The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, January 20, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, North Carolina 27375 or Aging Disability & Transit Services, PO Box 1915, Reidsville, North Carolina 27323.
