Doris Moore Manring

Reidsville - Doris Moore Manring, 86, of 188 Vaden Road, died on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at her home.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve McBride, Michael Manring, Eric Williamson, Donion Moore, James Dyson and Jerry Dyson. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.Mrs. Manring was born in Rockingham County to the late John and Martha Sutton Moore. She retired from The American Tobacco Company after 40 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Manring; brothers, Woodrow, Penn, Howard, Tommy, Bill and Rabbitt Moore; sisters, Mable Crouse and Arlena Blankenship. She is survived by her son, Tim Manring, of the home; daughter, Nancy McBride and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Honey Williamson and husband, Eric and Michael Manring; great grandchildren, Hannah Anne Williamson and Carter Joseph Williamson; brothers, Cecil Moore and wife, Carrie Lee and Johnny Moore and wife, Peggy; sisters, Betty Dyson and Elsie London and husband, Paul.The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Advanced Home Care, especially Jennifer Anderson and Kathy Foster, for their loving care given to Mrs. Manring.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
