Doris Snow McCollum

Reidsville: Doris Snow McCollum, 85, of Pine Forest Rest Home, passed away on Saturday February 5, 2011 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2011 at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Michelle Chappell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McCollum was born in Rockingham County to the late Ernest and Emma Trent Snow and was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David W. McCollum. Survivors include her son, David Wesley McCollum, II and wife Carole Gammon McCollum; daughter, Dixie McCollum Davis and husband, Keith Edward Davis; granddaughter, April LeeAndra Davis. The family will see friends from 6-8 PM Sunday February 6, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at 210 Quail Loop Rd, Reidsville.
