Doris Bray Ware

Doris Bray Ware 82, of 304 Pegram Street, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at East Side Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home. Doris was born in Pittsylvania County, to the late William and Mamie Wilson Bray. She was a retiree of Service America and a member of East Side Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wilbur Ware, Jr.; son, Ronald Wayne Ware; one sister and one brother. Survivors include her son, Sammy Ware and wife, Renee; daughter, Peggy Rierson; grandchildren, Jeana Rierson, Randi Allen and Elijah Ware; great grandchildren, Wyatt Rierson, Peyton Orr, Penelope LaVonne and God daughter, Wendy Ragan; brothers, Billy Bray and Bud Bray; sisters Lois McCollum, Louise Wray and Ann Loye. Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Baptist Church, 1859 Barnes Street, Reidsville, NC 27320.
