Dorothy Lee Causey Cooper

Greensboro – Dorothy Lee Causey Cooper, 90, passed away peacefully at the Beacon Place on June 5, 2009. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro with Reverend Michael Barrett officiating. The family will see friends after the service.Mrs. Cooper was born December 17, 1918 in Norfolk, VA., one of six children, to the late H.O. and Mary King Causey. She attended Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Acey Clyde Cooper.Survivors include her son, Larry C. Cooper of Greensboro and grandson, Stephen L. Cooper of Atlanta, GA.Mrs. Cooper was employed by Greensboro Manufacturing Company and she worked in the cafeteria at Sumner High School. Her hobbies included various crafts and growing flowers.
