Dorothy Page Gilmore

Dorothy Page Gilmore, 90, passed away June 25, 2019. A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Virginia Page, wife of the late Marion (Skip) Gilmore to whom she was married for 58 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Reidsville Christian Church with Mr. Shannon Newsome officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and the burial will follow the funeral ceremony at Reidlawn Cemetery. She was a member of Reidsville Christian Church where she taught Sunday School, a member of the choir and a longtime member of Circle 2 (Fellowship Group) until it disbanded in 2015. She was also a former member of the William Bethel Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. Along with some of her family and friends, she traveled to 8 different United States National Parks. She looked forward to her weekly canasta card games with her friends. Surviving are son, Jerry Gilmore of Reidsville; granddaughters, Amanda Cutrell (Justin) of Carolina Shores, NC and Ginny Collins (Doug) of Winterville, NC; great granddaughter, Anna Claire Cutrell; brothers, Eugene Page (Barbara) of Elon, NC, Harold Page (Claudine) of Ruffin, NC and Ronald Page ( Patricia) of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Nancy Kennedy (Jim) of Atlanta, GA; and a large extended family. Dot requests that, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Man-Up Ministry of Reidsville Christian Church, 2020 South Park Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.
