Summerfield: Dorothy Isley Paschall, 73, of 196 Paschall Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Raines and Rev. Jerry Collins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Paschall was born in Rockingham County to the late William and Carrie Purgason Isley. She was a lifetime and faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She always made her house a home, making time for family with wonderful food and fun. Growing up on the farm she enjoyed gardening, flowers and animals. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Morris and her brothers, Johnny, Jimmy and Pete Isley. Mrs. Paschall is survived by her husband, James Paschall of the home; her children, Ken Paschall and wife, Pam of Reidsville, Scotty Lee Paschall and wife, Phyllis of Browns Summit and Paula Paschall Sides and husband, Doug of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Kenny Paschall, JR and wife, Shayna, Michael Paschall and wife, Hillary, Kimberly Peterman and husband, Steven, Kristin Roberts, Jay Paschall, Walter Paschall and Becky Paschall; 6 great grandhchildren; sisters, Mary Henry Collins and Margaret Simpson both of Summerfield; sister-in-law, Sudie Isley of White Lake, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 316 Witty Road, Summerfield, NC 27358.
