Reidsville – Dorothy Lovelace Shown Flowers, 69, of 2901 Vance Street Ext. Apt. 4-D, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Stokesdale Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Brown and Rev. Ken Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Dorothy was born in Caswell County to the late Roy Lee and Mattie Lee Tuggle Lovelace. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Shown; sisters, Sadie Pruitt, Verdie Denny, Elizabeth Pruitt, Cathy Wray; brother, Floyd Lovelace. She is survived by her husband, Earl Flowers of the residence; sons, Eddie Shown and wife, Susan of Valdese, NC, Larry Shown and wife, Shannon; daughters, Priscilla S. Wilson and husband, Anthony, Kay S. Meeks, Rhonda S. Blackwell, all of Reidsville; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Mabe and Jeanette McDaniel; brothers, William Lovelace, Earnest Lovelace, Charles Lovelace and J.C. Lovelace.
