Reidsville – Drury “June Bug” Franklin Ward, 62, of 400 Brown Road in Gibsonville, NC, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Welaka, FL.Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 2:00 PM in Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Grover Wilson officiating.Mr. Ward was born in Rockingham County and was a son of the late Stevie Anderson Ward and Virginia Loftis Ward. He retired from commercial construction and was a member of Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church in Asheboro. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Eugene Ward and a sister, Mary Stone. He is survived by a son, Dean Ward; step-son, Mastin Aldridge and wife, Stacey; Grandchildren, Candace Ward, Bryson Aldridge and Dakota Aldridge; great granddaughter, Miah Faye Aldridge; brothers, Larry Ward and wife, Lill, Carl Ward and wife, Shirley, Ernest Ward; sister, Linda Collins and husband, Edward.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18, from 7-9 PM.
