Duber Wingate Moore

Reidsville: Duber Wingate Moore, 87, of 902 Walnut St, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Rockingham County Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Dodson officiating. The burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Duber was born in Rockingham County to the late, W. Clarence and Bertie Mae Pickrell Moore. He retired from Zarn Corportation in 1993 and was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed antique cars and he loved animals, rescuing many cats over the years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Moricle Moore. He is survived by his brothers, W. Clarence “Pete” Moore, Jr., Bobby L. Moore and wife, Geneva, Charles F. Moore and wife, Judith and Carl W. Moore and wife, Shirley and a large extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
