Dustin Evans

Reidsville: Dustin Evans, 37, passed away on August 31st, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at two o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Glenda Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home. Dustin was born in Guilford County to Robert Gary Evans and Deborah Whitley Evans. He was an active member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Dustin was a wonderful caregiver to his father. He enjoyed many things, including, spending time with family and friends, photography, working with plants. He collected rocks, antiques, but mostly enjoyed his cat, Cream Puff. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Whitley and his paternal grandfather, Harold Evans. In addition to his parents, Dustin is survived by his brother, Patrick and wife, Anna Evans of Reidsville; his niece, Jennie Evans; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Bailey Whitley of Robersonville; his paternal grandmother, Irene Evans of Reidsville; aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Don and Heather Swayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Building Fund, 361 Mt. Carmel Church Road, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320.
