Earleen Burroughs Isley

Reidsville - Earleen Burroughs Isley, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Mrs. Isley was born in Rockingham County to the late John A. and Evie Bailey Burroughs. She was retired from the American Tobacco Company with over 40 years of service. She was a member of The Rock Church of God. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two infant sons and her 6 brothers and sisters.Survivors include her son, James Isley and wife, Melanie of Reidsville; her daughter, Teresa Isley Cecil of Winston-Salem, NC; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and other times at James' home (37 Circle Drive).Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281,Wentworth, NC 27375.
