Edith Josephine Fulp Fulp

Reidsville–Edith Josephine Fulp Edith Josephine Fulp, 84, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Annie Penn Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 6, 2009 in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Fulp was born in Rockingham County to the late Alex and Sallie Atwood Fulp. She retired as a nurses aid at Annie Penn Hospital. She attended Rockingham Community College and was active with Meals on Wheels and the Council on Aging. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved gardening and anything to do with nature. Preceding her in death was her husband, Carl Dixon Fulp; daughter, Janet Fulp Cameron; sister, Donis Hemrick; brothers, O.T. Fulp and J.B. Fulp. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carolyn Cobb and husband, Jackie, Vickie Sutton, Jeanette Foley and husband, Roger; son, Randy Fulp and wife, Cindy; brother, Dean Fulp; brother-in-law O.T. Fulp and wife, Nannie Kay; grandchildren, Dickie Cobb, Carl Sutton, Cindy Coghill, Nicholas and Trevor Foley; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. At her request, there will be no formal visitation. The family will be at the home of Carolyn and Jackie Cobb, 151 Grady Road.
