Edna Angle Tarkington

Reidsville: Edna Angle Tarkington, 89, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Penn Nursing Center in Reidsville. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 11:00 A.M., at Greenview Cemetery with Dr. Greg Robertson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home Edna was born on January 17, 1928, in Rockingham County to the late Harvey W. and Eva Mills London. She worked at The American Tobacco Company in the Research Department for 47 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 40 years and sang in the choir. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Edward Angle, her second husband, Zebulon Vance Tarkington and her brother, Bill London. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Angle Coleman and husband Donald A. Coleman and her sister, Ann French and husband Lester French.
