Reidsville - Edna "Candy" Cannon Branon, 51 of 11992 NC 150, Lot 6, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Annie Penn Hospital.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Terrell officiating. Pallbearers will be Roger Cannon, Steve Cannon, Jimmy Cannon, Chris Gravley, Daniel Tippett and Robert Goolsby. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Edna was born in Rockingham County to Jack Edward Cannon, Sr. and Lula Martin Cannon. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Paul Fuqua, Jr. and niece, Sheena Fuqua, her paternal and maternal grandparents.She is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Branon, of the residence; son, Christopher Dale Cannon and wife, Michelle; daughter; Danielle Nicole Branon and fiancee', Chris Gravley; brothers, Jack Cannon, Jr. and wife,Reba, Jimmy Cannon and wife, Peggy; Steve Cannon and wife, Wendy; Roger Cannon and wife, Collette; sisters, Shelia Fuqua and husband, Paul, Teresa Harmon and husband, William; numerous nieces and nephews and her special friend, Donna Somers.The family will see friends on Wednesday ,August 29, 2012, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and other times at 712 Montgomery Street.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
