Edna G. Jones

Reidsville –Mrs. Edna G. Jones, 91, of the Midway Community, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Nancy Peay Garner and was born in Rockingham County on November 30th, 1922. She was retired from Gem Dandy, Inc and a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Jones; brothers: Clayton McCollum, Ralph McCollum and sister, Hattie McCollum Sharpe. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 at three o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnathan Marlowe officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
