Reidsville – Edna “Mae” Parnell Lewis, 76, of 3414 Grooms Road, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Avante of Reidsville.Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Mrs. Lewis was born in Danville, Virginia to the late Walter and Ethel Young Parnell. She attended the Faith Baptist Church. She had been employed at Cone Mills, Sears Warehouse, Lisk Lures and Allen Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. H. Lewis and sisters, Vivian Clayton and Mary Motley.She is survived by her sons, Jody Lewis and wife, Brenda, Randy Lewis; daughters, Debra Bray and husband, Donald, Patti Janus and husband, John; grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Crystal Lewis, Ricky Bray and wife, Nickie, James Money, Sarah Janus, Kenyon Janus and Cheynne Lewis; brother, Walter Parnell and sisters, Susie Holley, Shirley Durham and Roberta Kaiser.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM and other times at the residence of her daughter, Debra Bray at 255 Live Oak Road.
