Edna Moore Pearman

Summerfield: Edna Moore Pearman, 93, of 6525 NC Highway 65, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Britthaven of Madison after declining health over the past several years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. She was born in the Iron Works area and lived most of her life in the Bethany community. She was the only daughter of the late Johnson Worley and Orpha Knight Moore. During her working years she spent a number of years as supervisor of meal preparation at Bethany School and many years in nursing assistance at Annie Penn Hospital. Her interests included cooking, gardening, quilting, knitting and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Otis, Lindsay and Harvey Moore. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Pearman of the home; daughter, Shirley P. Hunter and husband, Richard of Williamsburg, VA ; sons, Harold Pearman and wife, Sandra of Wake Forest, NC, Robert Pearman and wife, Teresa of Boone, NC ; grandchildren, Stephen Hunter, Susan Hunter, Teresa Rose, Tom Pearman, Christy Kubis and Heidi Cox; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kacey, Hayden, Riley, Chase, Connor, Lilly and Rowen; brothers, Fred, Jim and J.W. Moore. . The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23rd from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the residence.
