Stoneville: Edward L. “Ed” Fulcher, Sr., 64, of 112 South Glenn Street, passed away Sunday evening, February 15, 2015 at his home in Stoneville.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Stoneville Christian Disciples of Christ with Rev. George “Buddy” Self officiating.
Ed was born in Rockingham County to the late Russell and Preston Shivley Fulcher. He was formerly a supervisor for Burlington Industries and later served as the custodian for Baptist Temple Church for many years. Known as “KJ4CR”, Ed spent as much time as possible on his HAM radio and was a longtime member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. He was also a longtime and faithful member of Baptist Temple Church. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Southard Fulcher.
He is survived by his sons, Lee Fulcher, Jr. of Reidsville and Mac Fulcher and wife, Courtney of Cascade, VA; his granddaughter, Katy Fulcher of Reidsville; sisters, Russelene Disher and husband, David of the home and Virginia Gail Eisbacher and George of Stoneville; brother, Jimmy Mark Fulcher, Sr. of Eden; and several nieces and nephews.
