Reidsville – Eleanor Smith Wall, 75, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Hutchens officiating. The pallbearers will be Cameron McFalls, Shane Troxler, Clint Benfield, Michael Stanley, Ronald Williams and Joseph Bartlett.Mrs. Wall was a native of Rockingham County and was born to the late Zebulon Griffith and Mary Elizabeth Swing Smith. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Eleanor was a charismatic person that enjoyed a good meal, playing Bingo and the Lottery, talking to her friends on the phone and driving wherever the road took her. She was a loving woman that loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Glenn Wall; sister, Patricia Cobb; brothers, Robert Lewis Smith and Rev. Ronald Coleman Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Hill, Priscilla Williams and husband, Ronald and Amelia Benfield and husband, Clint; grandchildren, Brandi Stanley and husband, Michael, Cameron McFalls, Shane Troxler, Hailey Bartlett and husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Trinity Williams and Nolan Stanley; brothers, Richard Roland Smith, Sr. and wife, Irma; nephew, Richard Smith, Jr.There will not be a formal visitation but the family will receive friends at the home of Elizabeth Hill, 1111 Wentworth Street.In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice House of Rockingham County, P.O.
