Elizabeth Dalton Wyrick

Reidsville: Elizabeth Dalton Wyrick, went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at home with her family by her side. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Elizabeth was born on August 27, 1930, in Rockingham County to the late Leonard Dalton and Della Mae Watkins Dalton. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mrs. Wyrick retired from Cone Mills White Oak Plant. She loved her family and took care of her siblings also. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Monroe Wyrick, daughter, Brenda Jane Wyrick, sons, Ricky Ayers and Danny Joe Wyrick, two sisters and six brothers. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Michael Ayers; her daughter, Vickie Strickland; grandchildren, Shane Ayers, Crystal Ayers Walters, Michael Lee Bellow, Jessica Jeffries Isley and Aaron Deaton; great grandchildren, Kaylee Ayers, Leigh Ayers, Davis Isley and Gracie Walters, and sisters, Rosa Lee Dalton Taylor and Emma Jane Dalton McCoy. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
