Elizabeth Wray Lester Hurst

Elizabeth Wray Lester Hurst, 78, passed away on February 13, 2015. She is survived by her sister, Margaret L. Grant, of Wilmington NC and daughters Margaret A. Hurst, Le Ann Fenton, Carolyn Collins, and their families. Betty Wray was born in Reidsville, NC to L.D.Lester and Helen Smith Lester. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard S. Lester, and brother-in-law, William H. Grant. She graduated from Greensboro College and spent her career teaching, retiring from the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, April 11th at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, Reidsville NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Love Inc., PO Box 18517, Charlotte NC 28218.
