Reidsville – Elizabeth Perdue “Lib” Finney, 72, of 7254 NC 65 in Summerfield, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009.A memorial service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 2:00 PM.Lib was born in Rockingham County to the late Willie “Bill” and Jennie Sharp Perdue. She was a homemaker and was also preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Perdue.Survivors include her husband, Charlie Finney; Children, Donnie Mitchell and wife, Melody, Shirley Mitchell, Tommy Mitchell and wife, Carla, James Mitchell and wife, Joy, Darrell Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell and wife, Jane, Frank Mitchell, Karen Mitchell and husband, Darrell, John Henry Mitchell; 1st husband, Henry Mitchell; Grandchildren, Nick Mitchell, Eric Walker, Darren Mitchell, Shannon Kennon, Hope Roach, Jordan Mitchell, Josh Goodman; 9 great grandchildren; 4 step children; 18 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great grandchildren; brothers, Curtis Perdue and Larry Perdue; sister, Nancy May and husband, Jesse.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home immediately following the service and at other times at the home of Shirley Mitchell, 251 Mitchell Road.
