Ella Allen Gunn

El Paso, TX: Ella Allen Gunn, 86, of 5880 Via Cuesta Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Frank Carter officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Gunn was born in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late John Watt and Bessie Perkins Allen. She was lifelong resident of Reidsville until the last eight years of her life. She was a graduate of the Kings Business College and was formerly employed with the YMCA and the Salvation Army. Her kind, generous and gracious spirit was recognized by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Everette Odell Allen. She is survived by her son, Kevin Gunn and wife, Erica of El Paso, TX; her grandsons, Reno and John Gunn; sister, Frances Manley of Reidsville; brother, Tim Allen and wife, Margie of Ruffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
