Ella Mae Moricle Carter

Ella Mae Carter, 92, of Reidsville, went home to be with The Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A graveside funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Steve Lattimer officiating.

Ella Mae was born in Rockingham County to the late Mullin and Carrie Moricle. She worked as a dental assistant for over 30 years and later worked at Miller Brewery for 15 years until her retirement. Ella Mae enjoyed good Gospel music, especially the Gaither’s. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by granddaughter Melissa Ashley Carter; siblings Charles Moricle, M.C. Moricle, J.W. Moricle, Annie Hall, Louise Cooke, Betty Gray Hagwood, Howard Moricle, Pauline Woodall, and Charlotte Baker.

Ella Mae is survived by her sons Paul Carter and wife Terri, and Harold Carter and wife Traci; grandchildren Chrissy Carter and Autumn Salisbury and husband Kyle; great grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Callie, and Lola; and a large extended family.
