Reidsville - Elsie Mae Jackson Bolick, 83, of 260 Moore Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Jacob's Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Madison.Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 22, 2011, at Wilkerson Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian David Neal, Duane Blevins, Timothy Valdez, Charles Allen Paschal, Michael Wayne Tilley and John Michael Tilley.Mrs. Bolick was born in Rockingham County to the late Wesley Fox and Mary Lee Via Jackson. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company after 35 years service and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Eden. She loved to gather sea shells at the beach and make crafts with them. Also she loved troll dolls, animals and enjoyed canning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Otis Wesley Jackson, Earl Jacob Jackson and Edward Tuttle Jackson, Sr.; sisters, Edith Jackson Fargis and Earlene Hester Jackson Brown.Mrs.Bolick is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Marie Crews Neal and husband, Carl, of Reidsville, Gloria Dianne Crews of McLeansville, and Monica Darlene Crews of Eden, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and sister, Doris Moore and husband, Billy of Reidsville and 14 nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2001, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM and other times at the residence.Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Carolina Piedmont Chapter, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, N.C. 28215
