Emerson Kimbro Warren

Reidsville: Emerson “Emma” Kimbro Warren, 88, of 165 Harbor Road, Reidsville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 22, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Puryear officiating. The burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Warren was born in Rockingham County to the late Jay and Effie Vaughn Kimbro. She was a longtime and faithful member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from the American Tobacco Company after 42 years of Service. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Warren; her daughter, Rachel Dianne Warren; her sister, Elizabeth Kimbro Talley; and her brother, Thomas E. Kimbro. She is survived by her brother, Lee Kimbro; her sisters, Mary Bratton, JoAnn Tate and husband, William and Mabel Padgett; her faithful friend, Becky Shreve all of Reidsville and many nieces, nephews and friends.
