Emily Alcorn Dunlap

Emily Alcorn Dunlap, 33, of Eden, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at her home Sunday, September 25, 2022.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 3, 2022, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Mr. Bobby Hodges and Pastor Heath Lloyd officiating. The famiy will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 -8:00 PM at WIlkerson Funeral Home and other times at 706 Frazer Lane, Reidsville (Bobbie Jo Clifton) or 941 Flat Rock Rd. Reidsville, Reidsville (Richie and Lori Alcorn). 

Emily was born in Rockingham County and lived most of her life in Eden. She was employed with Kelly Tech Services where she served as an IT Specialist. Emily loved and adored her children and was always a faithful friend. She loved the great outdoors and especially the Mayo River! Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and helping other people.

Emily is survived by her husband Joseph Dunlap; children Aaraiah Alcorn, Christian Dunlap, Cassie Richardson, Joseph Dunlap, and Wyatt Dunlap; mother Bobbie Jo Clifton; father Richie Alcorn and wife Lori; sister Sarah Alcorn; maternal grandmother Roberta Clifton; mother-in-law Teresa McBride; special friends Pamela Symmes and James Lawson; and a large extended family.
