Ernest "Ernie" David Watts

Reidsville – Ernest David Watts, 65, of 7626 Kerrs Chapel Road, Elon, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell.Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July14, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville. Interment will follow in the Hillsborough Town Cemetery. Ernie was born in Hillsborough to the late Walter David and Lucille Spoon Watts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired Machinist with Ball Corporation.He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Carver Watts of the home; Sons, Ernest David Watts, Jr. of Reidsville, William Watts of Snow Camp, Wayne Watts of New Bern and Ronald Watts of Oxford, NC; 2 grandchildren.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 13, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and other times at the residence.
