Ernest Odell Richardson

Ernest Odell Richardson, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Reidlawn Cemetery. Ernest was born to the late Odell Harvey Richardson and Libby Wilson Richardson. He was an avid sports fan, especially of NASCAR. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Tracey Weaver and husband Kevin, Chasity Chilton and husband Branden; grandchildren, Hunter Weaver and wife, Madison, Nick Weaver, Kaitlyn Chilton, Abby Chilton and Maddie Chilton; great grandchild, Rhett Weaver; sisters, Dianne R. Curry, Lisa R. Allen, Cathy R. Needham and Rhonda R. Smith; lifelong friend, Donnie Echols as well as a large and loving extended family.
