Ernest Lee Thomas

Ernest Lee Thomas, 68, of Reidsville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Chapmon officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Upon his request, he will be cremated after his funeral services. 

Ernest was born in Rockingham County to the late Morris Ballard Thomas and Gladys Martin Hill.  He was of the Southern Baptist Faith and was a truck driver for many years.  He loved singing, playing the guitar, listening to music and collecting antiques.  Rarely a day went by that he didn’t spend time with his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Camilla T. Travis.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Michelle Pegram (Philip); grandchildren, Amber, Kandis, Brooklyn and Travis Pegram; great grandson, Avorrie Frazier; brother, Morris “Wayne” Thomas (Alice); numerous nieces and nephews, many friends and loved ones.
