Ernestine "Tennie" Hennis Taylor

Ernestine "Tennie" Hennis Taylor, 92, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday April 17, 2023 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Amanda Hedden. There will be no formal visitation but you may pay your respects from 3:00 til 5:00 PM Sunday afternoon at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

Ernestine was a daughter of the late Huss and Mary Wilson Hennis. She was a retiree of Creighton and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her flowers, cooking and most of all her greatest joy was being with her family. She had several nieces and nephews from the Taylor and Hanks clan who loved her dearly. Those that have preceded her in death are her husband J.C. Taylor; son Roger Wayne Taylor, and sisters Lois Hanks and Doris Barham.  

Survivors are her son Donald Taylor; granddaughter Raven Allen; great granddaughter Lachlan Allen and sister-in-law Betty McGee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midway United Methodist Church.
