Estelle Poindexter Hamlett

Pelham: Estelle Poindexter Gauldin Hamlett, 79, of 8579 Old US 29, Pelham, NC, died on Sunday, November 30, 2008, at her home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Lively Stones Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Estelle was a daughter of the late Roy and Nora Stanley Poindexter and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Gauldin and Willis Hamlett and brother, Leroy Poindexter. She is survived by her sons, Charles Gauldin and Jerry Hamlett; sisters, Adell Poindexter, Allene Lee, Nora Alderson, Delane Bailey, Myrtle Bailey and Clara Marshall; brothers, Tommy, John and Clyde Poindexter; granddaughter, Beth Hamlett: grandson, Nathan Hamlett. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 2nd from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Other times at the residence.
