Estelle Howerton McClintock

Madison - Estelle Howerton McClintock, 84, formerly of 515 Massey Creek Road, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Rockingham County Hospice Home. Estelle had resided at North Pointe of Mayodan since January of 2011.A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Roberts officiating. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.Mrs. McClintock was born in Rockingham County to the late Wharton William and Mary Smith Howerton. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a very religious person who enjoyed reading and sewing. In addition to her parents and one sister, Ethel, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. McClintock; grandson, Keith Oakes McClintock.Survivors include her children, Chris M. Hardiman and husband, Robert of Sandy Ridge, Larry W. McClintock and wife, Sally of Bluefield, Va., Mark C. McClintock and wife, Sarah of Madison; grandchildren, Gyna Craigo, Craig Hardiman, Adam Hardiman, Seth Hardiman, Crystal M. Robinson and Rose-Anna Estelle McClintock; great grandchildren, John Carl Craigo, Mary Katherine Craigo, Alexander Robinson, Kaylah Robinson, Chloe Hardiman, Cassie Hardiman, Isabell Hardiman, Ava Hardiman and Maddox Hardiman; great great grandchild, Mackenzi Craigo; sister, Rose Frances Newton of Reidsville.If you wish, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, North Carolina 27375
