Eugene Franklin Meador

Mr. Eugene Franklin Meador, III, 69, of Reidsville passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Franklin Goins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Mr. Meador was born on December 29, 1947 in Campbell County, Virginia to the late Eugene Franklin Meador, Jr. and Ruth Virginia Carroll Meador. Mr. Meador was a clerk with the United States Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Meador; one son, Eugene Franklin Meador, IV and wife, Amanda; one daughter, Lisa Kay Meador Sheffield and husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Meredith, Caroline and Jack Meador; Kaylee and Ashlynn Sheffield; two step-sons, Jeffrey Craddock and Kevin Shelton and wife, Heather; one step-daughter, Angela Hussey and husband, Craig; seven step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
