Eva Dove

Reidsville: Eva Dove Cox, 77, of 246 Norwood Drive, died on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Annie Penn Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Covington Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. David Surrett officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Eva was born in Rockingham County to the late Jim and Nannie Chapmon Dove. She was an active member at Covington Wesleyan Church where she enjoyed being involved in many church activities. She loved her family and her church family. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Cox of the residence; daughter, Starr Cox Massey and husband, Tommy of Reidsville; grandchildren, Grant, Gage and Gracen Massey; brothers, Bobby Dove and wife, Lorraine of Burlington, Dwight Dove and wife, Pam of Eden; sisters, Dot Rakestraw and husband, W.D., Margie Puckett and husband, L.A., all of Reidsville, Maribeth Dagenhart Woodard and husband, Sam of Virginia Beach, VA; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Covington Wesleyan Church on Saturday, November 14th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the residence.Memorial contributions may be made to Covington Wesleyan Church, Kids Church, 3218 Vance Street Ext. , Reidsville, NC 27320.
