Reidsville–Evelyn Joyce Paschal Massey, 84, of 2938 US 158 East, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, February10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 13, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Tuck and Rev. Mike Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at Melanie and Chris Wiles’ home (1327 Sherwood Drive). There will be a private interment for the immediate family following the chapel service at Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Massey was born in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Hardin and Rose Frye Joyce. She was a longtime and faithful member of Lawsonville Road Baptist Church where she was a part of the Sunshine Ladies Club and the choir. She was retired from Unifi after many years of service. She always made her house a home and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Lee Joyce, Oscar Joyce and Nick Joyce; her sisters, Ethel Hubbard, Phoebe Robertson, Edith Chattin, Rosina Chilton and Louise Joyce. Mrs. Massey is survived by her husband Robert Massey of the home; sons, Lee Paschal, Jr. and wife, Valerie “Joyce” of Reidsville and Ricky Paschal and wife, Vickie of North Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchlidren, Melanie Wiles and husband Chris, Derek Paschal and wife, Whitney, Brandon Paschal and wife, Keri, Josh Paschal and Josh Martin; great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Christopher and Kayla Wiles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
