Fannie Frances Pruitt

Reidsville–Fannie Frances Pruitt, 75, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Avante Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Ms. Pruitt was born June 6, 1940 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Ruff Pruitt and Nannie Willard Pruitt. She was a mother role to her sisters when her mom passed away. Fannie was very outgoing with a good sense of humor. Her love extended to everyone that she met. She loved her church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her sisters: Delsie Vernon, Bertha Mae “Ruthie” Pruitt, Mary Helen Pruitt and Polly Pruitt. Ms. Pruitt is survived by her brothers; Sammy Pruitt, and Jimmy Pruitt and wife, Rhonda; and sisters: Josephine, Becky and Sheila Pruitt of the home, and Bonnie McCusker of Yanceyville; special friend of the family, Christina Seager. A special thanks to her caregivers: Billy Jo Paschal, Angel Duggins, Cecelia Regalado, and April McMillan. Fannie enjoyed her many nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank the staff of Avante for their loving care. The family invites friends to a visitation at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.
