Faye Mitchell Norman

Reidsville: Faye Mitchell Norman, 78, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. The burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Norman was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late, Luther and Catherine Webb Mitchell. She retired from Rockingham County Schools with over 25 years of service. She was attending Freedom Baptist Church. Mrs. Norman was an avid golfer and she also enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 54 years, David Norman and her great granddaughter, Kaylen Marie Huffines. Mrs. Norman is survived by her daughter, Kathy Norman Huffines of Reidsville; her grandchildren, David Lee Huffines and Kristin Lynn Huffines both of Reidsville; her sister, Carol Ruth of Danville, VA and extended family. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00PM Monday, January 29 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
