Faye Everette Terry, 73, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and other times at the home of her daughter, Kim at 295 Shelton Road, Stokesdale NC.
Faye was born in Rockingham County to the late Ross and Lucille Chambers Everette and was of the Baptist Faith. She was the owner and operator of Rob and Ray’s Convenience Store and enjoyed her customers. She loved playing BINGO, traveling, especially to Maryland where she loved eating crabs. She also enjoyed eating out at local establishments. She so loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and shopping with her daughters. Most of all Faye was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Terry; brothers, Billy Everette, Weldon Everette and Dewayne Chambers and sister, Barbara Everette Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Kim Woods and husband, Chad and Mary “Sissy” Alcon and husband, Jimmy; sons, R.K. Terry and step son, Steve Yates; grandchildren, Justin Terry, Kendall Petty, Bryce Yates, Kayla Alcon, Tyler Yates, Peyton Alcon and Addison Woods; brothers, Mack Everette and wife, Claudia, Ronnie Everette, Tommy Everette, wife, Kathy and Roger Chambers and wife, Kay.
The family would like to thank the Penn Nursing Center and Staff and also Hospice of Rockingham County for the care given to Faye during her illness.
