Florine James Farmer

Reidsville: Florine James Farmer, 87, of Avante at Reidsville, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2010, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Hammock officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Farmer was born in Rockingham County to the late James William and Mamie Brown James. She was retired from Burlington Industries with over 48 years of service and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Farmer and son, Terry Allen Farmer.She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Farmer Taylor, of the home; grandchildren, Crystal Pyron and husband, John of Ruffin, Sherry Taylor of Reidsville, Kyndall Caruso and husband, Charlie of Eden, Megan Webb and husband, Shane of Eden; great grandchildren, Ariel, Taylor, Hunter, Logan and Kasay Pyron, Casey and Gracie Caruso and Jacque Webb; three sisters, Glenna Wetmore, Reather Perdue and Annie Loftis. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM and other times at the home of her daughter, 1518 Brooks Road.
