Frances Carolyn Wright

Frances Carolyn Wright, 77, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Curis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly Avante of Reidsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Mendenhall officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Carolyn was born in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Robert Reid and Eva Williams Wright. She was formerly employed with 1st National Bank and Evangelical Daycare. She was lifetime member of Midway United Methodist Church, a graduate of Bethany High School, Class of 1959 and Kings Business College, two years later. Her kindness and compassion was evident throughout her life and over the years she especially enjoyed caring for children. Her smile was infectious and she will be greatly missed. Carolyn is survived by her sister and lifetime best friend, Kay Wright also of Curis Nursing Center; special caregivers, Kathryn and Frank Joyce, Kenneth and Laurie Wright and a large extended family and many friends. Kay would like to express her heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Avante for their love and care for Carolyn.
