Frances Moore Mabe

Reidsville: Frances Moore Mabe, 68, of 1677 County Home Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Billy’s home (1313 Ridgewood Ave). Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 5, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. The burial will follow at the Hall and Mabe Family Cemetery. Frances was born on November 13, 1946, in Rockingham County to the late Fred L. Moore, Sr. and Mary P. Moore. She attended Dan River Wesleyan Church and was a faithful Christian. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Mabe and her brother, Fred L. “Bubba” Moore, Jr. She is survived by her children, Allen Gauldin and wife, Tonya, Billy Mabe, Mark Mabe and wife, Lisa, Michael Mabe, Angie Gauldin Greeson and Diane Mabe Derks and husband, Kevin; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and her sisters, Ruth Eanes and husband Arnett and Mary Jane Wilson.
