Frances Barnes Reeves

Reidsville: Frances Barnes Reeves, 68, of 150 Billingsley Road, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Goins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Larry and Diane at 337 Lick Fork Creek Road, Reidsville. Frances was a native of Wake County and was the daughter of the late Chester and Rosie Hall Barnes. She was married to the love of her life, John Reeves for 49 years and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always made her house a home. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Doug Barnes. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, John “Boogie” Reeves and wife, Melissa of Whitsett, NC, Larry Reeves and wife, Diane of Reidsville and Kristy Reeves of the home; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, David Barnes of Raleigh; sister, Linda Ivie and husband, Steve of New Brokton, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Sherry Lovelace Lockamy for her love and support during this difficult time.
