Frances Weaver Washburn

Reidsville – Frances Weaver Washburn, 77, of 251 Mizpah Church Road, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday February 1, 2013, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug McLeroy officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Frances was born in Rockingham County to the late Percy G. and Naomi Harrison Weaver. She was employed with The American Tobacco Company with 38 years of service and was a member of The Baptist Temple Church. Frances was an avid reader and love to crochet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Washburn. She is survived by her son, Michael Washburn and wife, Marie; her grandchildren, Jamielynn, Mikey, Matthew, Sanoa and Nalin; 2 great grandchildren and brother, Jerry Weaver and wife, Joye The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6:30 -8:00 PM and other times at 231 Mizpah Church Road Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
