Frank Otis Burroughs, Sr.

Reidsville – Frank Burroughs, 87, of 193 Purcell Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Wilkerson Funeral Home A visitation will be held from 1-3 P.M. on Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at his home. Frank Otis was born on January 8, 1931, to the late James Burroughs and Jessie Shelton Burroughs of Price, NC. He loved his family and making music with his friends. Along with his parents, he was preceeded in death by a son Buford L. Hawkins,daughters Brenda W. Lynch and Paula H. Tilly, grandson Brett Hawkins, brothers James, Doc and Tommy Burroughs and sisters, Mary Corum, Ellen Rhue and Hester Corum. Frank is survived by his wife, Annette Burroughs; his sons, Roger Dale Burroughs(Gina), Frank Thomas Burroughs(Rebecca), Frank Otis Burroughs, Jr.(Lisa) and Randall Hawkins(Karen); his daughters, Wanda Clark(Michael) and Shelia B. Lewis; grandchildren, Heather Crawford(Dale), Frankie Burroughs III, Ryan Burroughs(Brook), Jada Burroughs, Christopher Burroughs, Marysa Burroughs(Calvin), David Gauldin(Dawn), Jeannie Gauldin(Randall), Crystal Gann(Adam), Rachel Tillery, Klayton Hawkins(Sue Ann), Lindsay Hawkins, Mackenzie Hawkins, Steve Williams Jr.(Callie), Bryan Williams(Stephanie), Ashley Mckenzie, Tosha Tilley, Brittany Morris, Josh Hawkins, Brody Hawkins, Jessica Walker and Barrett Brown; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Rd., Reidsville, NC 27320.
